Donate Clothing

Starting August 22nd we will be pausing clothing donations temporarily as we gear up for an exciting new expansion! Stay tuned!

What would you wear to a job interview?
That is exactly the type of clothing we are looking for to distribute to our clients. Your fabulous suits and other professional apparel could furnish another woman with the confidence to enter or return to the workplace, make a great first impression and land a job that could change her life.

Additionally, many of our clients go directly to an interview, so please ensure that all items donated are freshly dry-cleaned / laundered and ironed *, not more than 5 years old, and suitable for wearing to job interviews. Thanks!

*   City Cleaners, 1179 State Street, Springfield, MA will give anyone who is donating clothes to Dress for Success Western Massachusetts a 5% discount to clean clothing prior to donation.

P.S. If you would like to donate clothing virtually – contact us for suggestions and sizes that can be ordered online and sent to the Boutique.

Donate Time

Volunteers are the lifeblood of Dress for Success Western Massachusetts! Without their help, we could not provide any of our programs or the opportunity for success. Volunteers are integral to achieving our mission of economic independence for all women. We’ve witnessed firsthand how the connection a volunteer makes with a client can have such a positive impact on her path to self-sufficiency.

We have a wide range of opportunities, from Suitors (working in the Boutique), Mentors (working directly with participants to help them grow in confidence), Digital Literacy Coach (provide one-on-one technology coaching), and working behind the scenes (Administrative tasks, Database updates, Graphic Design, Event Planning, Community Relations, Financial Planning, Grant Writing – just to name a few!!)
