Your clothing, time, and financial gifts help people in our community build confidence and step into new careers.
Due to staffing capacity we are currently unable to schedule pickup donations. All clothing donations must be brought directly to us. You have two convenient options:
Our Office: 45 Lyman Street — by appointment only. Call 413.301.8506 to schedule.
What would you wear to a job interview? That is precisely the type of clothing we are looking for to distribute to our clients. Your fabulous suits and other professional apparel could give someone the confidence to enter or return to the workplace, make a great first impression, and land a job that could change their life.
It is important to note that many of our clients go directly to an interview from the boutique, so please ensure that all items donated are freshly laundered and ironed, not more than five years old, and suitable for wearing to job interviews.
Would you wear it proudly to an interview or to work? If the answer is yes, chances are we'll gratefully accept it!
Donations are accepted by appointment only, and can be scheduled by:
If you or your company are interested in hosting a clothing drive to support DFSWM, please email Diane Jacobs.
Giving online is quick and easy. You can make your gift now by clicking here and completing our simple donation form.
You can also become a DFSWM Confidence Champion by making automatic monthly gifts to DFSWM. On our giving page, just adjust the frequency to monthly.
If you'd prefer to mail a check, make it payable to Dress for Success of Western Massachusetts and mail it to us at P.O. Box 15376, Springfield, MA 01115.
For IRA owners who have reached the age of 70½, your required minimum distribution is a great way to make a gift to your favorite charity, including DFSWM! You can contribute up to $100,000 from your IRA directly to DFSWM and avoid paying income taxes on the distribution.
A great way to ensure you can support DFSWM for years to come is by including a legacy gift in your estate planning. This can be as simple as a bequest to DFSWM in your will or naming DFSWM as a beneficiary in a life insurance policy or an investment account.
For more information or to let us know about your intentions of a planned gift to DFSWM, contact Jess Roncarati-Howe.
Many local businesses choose to show their support of our clients' empowerment by becoming a sponsor of DFSWM's largest annual fundraising event, Common Threads.
Sponsorship information can be found here or by contacting Jess Roncarati-Howe.
Your time is as valuable as clothing and financial donations. Volunteers are the heart of our organization, helping with clothing sorting, boutique assistance, professional coaching, and more.
