Who We Are

Dress for Success Western Massachusetts is a proud Global Network Member of Dress for Success® Worldwide, one of over 130 Network Members in 15 countries - who work together with referral agencies, volunteers, and corporate partners around the world to make the greatest possible impact on women's lives.

Established in 2000, Dress for Success Western Massachusetts (DFSWM) is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit responsible for its own fundraising, programming, and organizational structure. What began in a single room of a community center expanded to donated space at Springfield's Eastfield Mall until its demolition in 2023. Today, DFSWM operates from its permanent home at 45 Lyman Street, serving as the anchor organization for the O'Dell Women's Center.

Since 2018, our team has grown from one part-time staff member to a dedicated team of one full-time and four part-time staff members, along with four contractors. Several team members are graduates of our programs and active participants in our Professional Women's Group — a reflection of our deep commitment to supporting the women and nonbinary community we serve and fostering long-term success.

OUR MISSION / PURPOSE ~ Our mission at Dress for Success Western MA is to empower women to achieve economic mobility by providing a network of support, workplace attire, and development tools for success.
