Women’s Fund grants $130K to aid women and girls in western Mass.
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Women’s Fund of Western Massachusetts awarded $130,000 in Community Resilience grant funding to 17 organizations this past year, aiming to support women, girls, and gender-diverse individuals.
The grants focus on critical areas such as domestic violence prevention, immigration support, trans justice and leadership movement development. The funding comes in response to community needs exacerbated by cuts to federal, state and local funding.
