Dress for Success to hold thrift and thrive event in Springfield
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Dress for Success of Western Massachusetts is scheduled to host its inaugural Thrift and Thrive event in Springfield to fund programs supporting women’s economic mobility.
The event will be held from September 11 to September 13 at 45 Lyman Street in Springfield. The fundraiser offers discounted boutique inventory, including high-end brands and accessories, to support the organization’s career development programs. All proceeds will fund essential services, such as professional attire and mentorship for low-income women and nonbinary individuals entering the workforce.
Friday, September 11: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday, September 12: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday, September 13: 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
“This is a great opportunity for those who are environmentally conscious, love the adventure of thrifting, or just want to give their wardrobe a boost for the fall,” said Executive Director Jess Roncarati-Howe. “Every item has been meticulously inspected by our team for quality and wear-and-tear, so everything is a great find!”
