Springfield Fashion Week returns with spotlight on thrift style, career confidence

SPRINGFIELD — The hottest look on the runway as Springfield Fashion Week gets underway this weekend might not be a designer gown.
Instead, it could be a secondhand blazer, or a repurposed dress or even an interview outfit capable of helping someone land their next job.
The annual event returns with a premier showcase Saturday at MGM Springfield, and will feature everything from streetwear to gala looks to professional business attire all wrapped up in one show, said Arianna Wilson, the show producer and runway coach.
